The club now caters for Field Target Shooters, we have made a FT range alongside the range building, with targets from 5 metres to 40 metres, which is fully flood lit for the darker evenings and a covered firing point for the damper times.
In the main Range we have 6 yard, 10 metre and 15 metre ranges as well as a detached dedicated 10 metre range for air rifle and air pistol, enabling members to train any time of day or night, which ever fits in with their schedule.
The air rifle section is growing all the time, we have members of all abilities from those that just want to come along on a club night and shoot a few targets, to members of the national squad.
We now have quite a few Junior shooters training with the national squad for the 10m Air Rifle.
The section also enjoys going away to open shoots all over the country and quite often come away with medals / trophies.
We are always on the lookout for new talent, and welcome newcomers on a Friday night between 7:00 p.m. and 9 p.m. So if this interests you, come along and have a chat over a coffee, see what is involved and meet the team.
